Holistic Breath & Body work

Discover the healing power of your breath
7 September 2024, 14.30-17.30
Ping Shu Yuan, The Hague

Join Melanie Fissendjidis and Livia Benders for an afternoon special at Ping Shu Yuan: Holistic Breathwork & Bodywork. This immersive session is designed to guide you to the healing power of your own breath, unlocking deep physical, emotional and mental well-being. Conscious Connected Breath is a breathing technique that nourishes and oxygenates the body, thereby releasing (conscious or subconscious) tension, stagnation or blockages in our system. This breathwork journey is a true honor to your body’s natural healing mechanisms.

During this afternoon, you will:
Prepare the body & mind: with gentle body work and grounding practices.
Learn the Technique: Master the method of conscious connected breathing, a powerful technique that promotes profound relaxation and self-awareness.
Release Tension: Experience the release of physical and emotional stress, leaving you with a sense of clarity and calm.
Integrate Emotions: Gently explore and integrate emotions, allowing for healing and emotional balance.
Connect Within: Deepen your connection to yourself, exploring your inner landscape and gaining insights.

It’s easy and tempting nowadays to get caught up in the rush of everyday life. But in an age of speed, it can be so liberating to go slow. To find moments of rest. To choose your own pace of living. No matter what you are doing – from working, to cleaning or practicing yoga – it is worth doing it slowly and with ease. The space, awareness and softness that arises from that, will not only nourish your body & soul, surprisingly it will often allow you to do more than you would have been able to do from a place of stress, rush and tension.

In this Yin Yoga special you will experience how it feels to actually move slow and approach yoga – and life – with softness and ease. How we do our practice matters more than what we do exactly. Be ready to enjoy a relaxing Yin Yoga session, specially crafted to soothe our nervous system, so that our body and mind can rest and restore. Accompanied with acoustic guitar tunes and flickering candlelight.
